The audiovisual industry is evolving fast. Capturing the attention of buyers and viewers while standing out is now a strategic challenge. STUDIO TF1, in partnership with Ask Mona, has innovated for the promotion of the Swedish series We Come in Peace by launching a dual conversational agent. This initiative blends narrative immersion with scientific insight, offering a unique experience that highlights Ask Mona’s agility in bringing its technology to a new sector.
The first conversational agent developed with STUDIO TF1 is Kasper, the series’ central alien character. It offers audiences an original and immersive entry into the universe of We Come in Peace by allowing users, for the very first time, to ask any question they want to this unusual character without ever revealing spoilers.
Kasper’s tone, mythology, physical traits, philosophy, and entire backstory were provided by the series creator Lars Lundström.
The goal is to turn viewers into active participants through a playful experience that simulates a real encounter with an extraterrestrial.
The second agent is built on scientific data provided by SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). Unlike Kasper, this agent is designed to deliver real scientific knowledge and to create a direct link between ongoing research and the series’ themes, grounding the fiction in reality.
Users can explore the scientific methods used to detect extraterrestrial signals, learn about current research on alien life, and understand the established protocols in case signals are detected.
This agent creates a bridge between entertainment and education, stimulating curiosity while highlighting the realistic dimension of the series in an engaging and accessible way.
We Come in Peace was commissioned by TV4 in Sweden and is the result of a European coproduction involving Black Spark (Sweden), Dansu (Lithuania), Beside Productions (Belgium), ZDF (Germany), STUDIO TF1 (France), Snyggfin Production (Lundström), Infinite Entertainment (Sweden), and Big Light (UK), with support from the European Union, the Nordic Film and TV Fund, and Wallimage.
International distribution is handled by STUDIO TF1 from the TF1 Group.
