Women on the Move: Celebrating women shaping the future of mobility

To mark March 8, VINCI Concessions launched Women on the Move, a purpose-driven campaign celebrating women who are driving change in the mobility sector.

The initiative highlights two key dimensions:

  • The essential role of female employees in innovation and sustainable mobility
  • The rediscovery of pioneering historical figures who dared to forge paths in male-dominated fields

A collaboration between VINCI Concessions and Ask Mona

To enrich the campaign, VINCI Concessions partnered with Ask Mona to offer a conversational AI experience.

Thanks to our technology, travelers can now engage with the AI-powered voices of three inspiring women pioneers:

  • Bessie Coleman, the first Black woman aviator
  • Camille du Gast, a bold racing driver and explorer
  • Alice Recoque, a French pioneer in artificial intelligence

The experience was deployed in four international airports through:

  • 6,000 smart magnets with QR codes distributed in terminals
  • Connected posters inviting travelers to start a conversation

Three remarkable women to (re)discover

✈️ Bessie Coleman, pioneer of the skies

The first Black woman to earn a pilot’s license, trained in France after being denied access to aviation schools in the U.S. She embodies courage and determination.

🏎 Camille du Gast, a fearless adventurer

A racing driver, expedition sponsor, and activist, she defied societal expectations and paved the way for other women.

💻 Alice Recoque, visionary of AI

Too often forgotten, she designed groundbreaking computing systems in the 1960s that helped lay the foundation for modern artificial intelligence.

Thanks to Ask Mona’s conversational AI, each of these women can now share her story and speak directly with travelers.

A shared commitment to knowledge and equality

This campaign reflects a common ambition:

To use AI to democratize access to knowledge, inspire future generations, and foster greater diversity in technical and mobility-related professions.

“Through this campaign, we offer a unique immersive experience that allows the public to engage with inspiring pioneers.”
Nicolas Notebaert, CEO of VINCI Concessions
